"In our time oversaturated with various information, it is difficult to correlate data, names and works of the same epoch that belong to different realms of the cultural history. However, both before and now architecture and literature were and are products of the same era that in different ways reflected its spirit and historical essence. The stories about architectural monuments (mostly, defense ones) were inspired by literary or folk pieces relating to the events that took place under walls of the fortresses.
