I expect, this disc will present you with unforgettable feelings and impressions. The singing of Iveria Church differs subtly but still clearly from usual samples of Orthodox church singing. It is difficult to render their colouring in words. Yes, this is a divine service, but there is so much human force, inspiration, will, so much craving for life and ascent in it that I feel that inside of me the pride of being a human being arises. Something earthly and something of heaven meet in this singing, but they do not resist one another. They push and draw one another into the height, up to real freedom. If not the freedom of the body, then the freedom of the Spirit. There is an emotional experience of alive space in it – such is my visual perception. Still even if I am mistaken, it is simply beautiful and it is exact.
