Irukanji. Z Lisu.

If genealogy matters, then it should be noted that Irukanji is a solo project by Ihor Orlovsky, a participant of the known Kyiv duet Sphingida and the co-founder of Sentimony Records – the label that is specialized in releasing high-quality experimental chill-out music. And, actually, this definition perfectly matches music by Irukanji – experimental chill-out. Because here, if one wishes, it is possible to discover elements of both ambient, and downtempo, and idm, and trance (but without the aggressive dancing element, which is now quite often associated with this definition). In other words, this is truly soft, spacious, but also quite frisky, energetic music, with which – in which – it is truly pleasant to spend time. On the one hand, it may be the "right" background for some exercises – not to distract, not to stress, not to interfere. On the other side – as it is, it can be a cool trip, because Irukanji achieves a certain meditation effect not due to monotony – but just by ramification of internal sound stratifications. And that is why listening to this album – is, at least, just interesting...
