This disc has become the second and, fortunately, not the last one in the annual spring series. Thus, we have the remarkable opportunity to meet Ukrainian, mainly, jazz in its female person. In various displays – women here act as both performers, and composers, arrangers. And it is not surprising – they are able to do everything, just they not always admit that. If you expect for something mild and gentle – it will also be there, but not only. It will also be strong, vigorous – for women do not yield to men in their strength. Just they use it more cleverly, harmoniously. Probably, therefore the force in these plays is not aggressive, it does not press – rather shrouds, supports, calls for growth. By the way, concerning growth – pay special attention to Julia Golovan'. First listen and say – how old she is, in your opinion.
