Тішусь, що маю цей фільм у своїй відеотеці. Я вже декілька разів бачив його -- в кінотеатрі і на телевізорі.
Добре пригадую, як над цим фільмом працювали і сов. пропаганда в медії УРСР чимало писала про те, що оцим фільмом вони викриють усі гріхи українських буржуазних націоналістів і нацистських колаборантів.
Тим часом постановники фільму -- як говорили оуністи -- "запхали свиню" компартійцям і культурним ґавляйтерам УРСР. У фільмі, справжнім і позитивним героєм є "укрбурнац" і месник-упівець (Богдан Ступка). Згодом, я чув, компартійні ідеологи зняли фільм з прокату бо побачили в чому справа. Вперше я цей фільм бачив у вашінґтонському кінотеатрі де ставили суперхудожні фільми. В залі, крім мене й дружини, було з шестеро руссских глядачів (принаймні коментарі вони шептали російською) і ще пару осіб. Людям, які були в дитсадку коли фільм вийшов, рекомендую подивитись, як за умов Союзу культурні діячі такі як Миколайчук і Ільєнко просували нашу справу (cosa nostra), на злість таким вартовим від ідеології як Леонід Кравчук і його боси в Москві.
