Well, whose fresh work I have really wanted to hear for already a long time – is that of Stelsi. The album "There..." expressly made it clear: the guys are skillful in both thinking, and joking, and playing music – masterfully. Well, and now we can confidently state – Stelsi has again grown higher, become better than it used to be. More humor has been squeezed in here, this is a fact. At that, it is diversified, variously sharpened – here is harsh banter, and lyric smiles, and sexual winking and just clear laughter with sad eyes. There are now also more ethnic motives – both gags between songs, and the songs are full of them. It is even difficult to imagine what an enormous heap of samples the guys explored, but the result is also – saturated, bright, colorful. That is, they so tightly filled in the external modern form with ethnic references that even their own absolutely modern texts of songs are first perceived as folklore represented in modern arrangement. Only when you start listening to the words more attentively – you understand that they were still not written down after elderly people... But this is already after – because at first you are just thrilled with the live current of rhythms and melodies, and richness of colors, and mastery in creation of sound collages. We could say – Stelsi has succeeded, not losing its dance lightness, in creating a lyric, honest, rich in content album on a frisky crossing of very different styles. An album about life. Life is different – but, in any case, completely ours.
