Though for Tonika this disc has become already the sixth release, she appears in our shop for the first time. However, we hope that not for the last one – because the girl does create interesting music. In any case, it is a pleasant mixture of tenderness and drive, instantaneous contemplative stops – and strong, swift D'n'B rhythms and melodies. This kind of things always attract attention due to their reckless internal energy, and the more so – if a girl is engaged in this. So it becomes obvious that in women extraordinary fragility and great force do not conflict with each other, coexist easily – far not as it is with men... In any case, let us go back to internal energies. Obviously, Tonika is an attentive person – otherwise, how would you explain that she has started actively involving live instruments performers to her sets? At that, this may be, so to speak, free music-making – or this may be also offered as ethnic music. For example it is with this kind of ethnic coloring that the fresh project "Drum&Bass Apartment" by DJ Derrick and DJ Tonika is characterized – but it can now be heard only "live". Well, and now – let's listen to the work "DrumAndBassSista", in which Tonika has mixed melody compositions by a number of talented Ukrainian, Russian and English producers.
