This disc, as you can see, is a collection – already a second of those that represent the young Kyiv recording house Sentimony Records. It was founded by participants of the music project Sphingida – naturally, among the rest you can find here their composition as well. It is worth paying attention to, a very transparent work. As for the recording house, it specializes in electronic music of, so to say, a relaxed type. That is – chill out, ambient, downtempo, trance, etc. Briefly, it is an atmosphere for attentive, quiet contemplation. Have you noticed the name of the disc? Any Buddhist will be happy to explain that contemplation of emptiness is wings of meditation as such, and it is from here that it is possible to step into the Shining Nothing. However, it is not necessary at all to consider oneself a Buddhist to catch the local wave and to have a perfect time on it. The compilers have really worked well – the amount of good findings positively impresses. In fact, the recording house does not limit itself to geographical or political boundaries in search for talented residents – and the more pleasant it is that the absolute majority of the participants are Ukrainians. And a greater number of the tracks cause the desire to hear more complete versions – fully fledged albums. By the way, somewhere on the verge of 2007-2008, the first album of the Kyiv duet Sphingida mentioned above is to see the light of the day – it will be interestingly to hear that.
