Ukrainian folk song ensemble "Kalyna". Ukrajins'ki zastol'ni pisni 8. (Table Party Songs)

We see "Kalyna" ensemble not for the first time, in the series "Ukrainian Table Party Songs" a collection by this collective was already released. What should we expect this time? Actually, the name of the series speaks for itself, therefore the ensemble offers to the audience the songs with which it is possible to just rest – and, possibly, not only at a served table. The major part of the collection is made up by merry, humorous, inflammatory songs – such that one would wish to not only listen to but also to dance with. There are also, sure, several sad ones – because there is no such feast when you would not like to stay sad a little – but here there are really few of them. The rest are the example of how Ukrainians can laugh at themselves. They are able to do it well – and they have always found quite a lot of causes for jokes in their life... And still do – that is why such songs, presumably, will not soon lose their actuality (and it is difficult say whether it is so good). At all events, the collection fulfills its task – creation of good mood – well, and this is already something.
