It is not only that Dima Kors, till recently a producer of young pop-singers, has now switched over to himself – as you can see by yourselves, he has started to sing and has released a debut album. To crown it all, it is pleasant to note that he even started to sing in Ukrainian – it has never been like that before. Besides, Dima Kors co-operates fruitfully with Irena Karpa (alternative rock-group Practically by Themselves) and I think that it is one of the reasons why this album has such sounding. After all, this is not entirely pop, but somewhat in between pop rock and synti-pop. In other words, one may feel search in this sounding. And today such thing as felt search is a rare case for modern pop-art music – as a matter of fact, it is not a widespread occurrence. I find it to be pleasant. Thus, there’s no pretension for a universal leadership in it – but at the same time, there’s enough pleasantness to make you listen to it more than once. It may happen exactly like that.
The songs are in Ukrainian and Russian.
