"Number 482" have decided, it seems to me, to prolong and develop the line initiated in the
first album with their second one. And this line lies in mixing on the light wave in music all styles that they like right now. To mix so that the influence were felt – but so that it were impossible to separate any styles clearly. It makes it possible to create exactly what they wish – and not to be tied to any rigid frames, scopes, and contours. On the one hand, everything is simple – it is pop-rock. But on the other hand, "pop-rock" is today a very vague, ramified, and thus almost universal definition. In this way, each song in the album has its own face, and these faces do not resemble each other at all. But, at the same time, all this together fits into some common direction of motion, system of co-ordinates. That is why it seems to me that not the style but the mood comes forward here as the basic guideline. Not that of each separate song, but the mood of the whole album, all music of the group as a whole. The mood that is a little melancholic – but with a considerable share of optimism, with flashes of joy. And without signs of despair – rather, here you may find a bit skeptical, but still romanticism. This kind of modern broadcast – a bit of everything.
