A few years have already passed from the moment of release of the first album by Lilya Vavrin – it even seemed that she decided to abandon the business of singing and to get engaged in something different. But it only seemed so. First, her work in recent years has in any case been in this or another way related to music. Second, work on the new material continued virtually all through the time – with intervals, by and by, but it did continue. The comeback was to be of high quality, as the start of the singing career was very noticeable and quickly brought glory and popularity to the singer. But what should be emphasized now, after the years of silence? The first album had an aftertaste of a tender urban romance – quiet singing, soft poetry, lightly pensive mood. Well, and now Lilya Vavrin colors her music with modern tones, satiates songs with dancing rhythms, constructs swift melodies. Briefly, she creates energetic pop music – however, not deprived of lyricism either. But now lyrics dwell not so much in the performance manner as in texts – light, romantic. For Lilya Vavrin has matured – and now in her voice it is possible to hear the force that was not there before. While in the texts one can still hear that very light pensiveness that the fans admired so much a few years ago.
