Maybe, it is not by chance that this album by the known journalist and editor-in-chief, TV anchor Dmytro Gordon has the title "For the First Time". And the issue is, most likely, not quite the name of the first song. For Dmytro Gordon already has a considerable discography as for a journalist – I assume that he has released two albums. But – they were in Russian. While this time – and for the first time – Gordon presents an album of exclusively Ukrainian-language songs. And, we should say, these are really nice variety songs. Plus with their mood, the atmosphere of former variety art – that is, not dance and entertaining, but lyric, pensive. And the lyrics are, in fact, simple – but touching. Besides Dmytro Gordon's voice this time sounds somehow more confident than on the two other discs. No, Gordon has not become a real variety singer – but he performs these songs as though he invites us to talk thoughtfully, to reflect. And exactly this mood of a quiet talk – is nice to feel.
