Andrey Kiritchenko. Bees & Honey.

In Ukraine, it is far not easy to find this album by Andrey Kiritchenko – and that's a pity, because it deserves being heard with a high quality. Surprisingly quiet, soft, spacious – it hides drops and flashes, mythical radio waves and windows ajar, behind which one can hear the voice of the city with its stone, glass and metal, and the voice of a person in the city – with laughter, anxiety, sleep, the morning question and the answer at night... Moreover, you will find here regards from ten of Andrey's friends from all over the world – and these are, no doubt, very decent regards. Any music – and especially such, experimental one – is perceived by us subjectively, this is clear. But not any music is able to make such perception an object of reality, object of attention, an aesthetic constituent. In other words and more concretely: the spaces of, in particular, Andrey Kiritchenko – regardless of what exact mixtures he prepares this or another time – are always an invitation to a very intimate, that is friendly, calm-and-attentive dialog. Exactly a dialog – the audience's attention creates this music together with the musician, that's why each time this music may be substantially different. And – must be different. Because attentiveness results in that you finally notice: this world is different at absolutely every instant, it constantly changes. And you, who notices the flow – you are this world, this flow. Do not freeze.
