Valery Viter is one of founders of the not just known, but legendary group "Kobza". Though, during the last 36 years a lot of things have changed, and not once. Participants of the first composition have been scattered all over the world, each is engaged in something of his own. But Valery Viter, for example, has not abandoned music, he was engaged in it quite actively all through these years, he has released a whole series of solo discs. And even had time to work with Kobza not as a participant already but as a solo performer. Actually, another example of this very cooperation pattern you see now – a solo album, but recorded together with Kobza. Music aesthetics of this recording is close to such phenomenon as bards – though not all, not each of them. Speaking in more detail – it is close to what
Valery Marenych does. But Valery Marenych now does everything himself, and on the disc by Valery Viter a whole band sounds – and the record only gains from that. Professionals who not only perfectly master their instruments but also do not avoid applying new, modern technologies have come together here. Moreover, these people know each other too long and too well to allow any misunderstanding in the recording – thus, everything sounds saturated, rich. By the way, in relation to professionals: pay attention – in arrangement and recording of two of the songs, an active part was taken by Enver Izmaylov, and this is also a lot, right? In other words, it is worth listening to – done joyfully, inventively.
