It seems that Iryna Bilyk is preparing for a sort of a new unexpected turn in her creativity. At least, this is the reason for release of this disk that is the first to come to one’s mind. However, if you have a glance in the booklet – one more reason appears on the surface, charitable one. But I won’t tell you details about it, let everyone find it out him/herself. Anyway, irrespective of the reasons, the disk has appeared interesting and diversified. It really includes the best songs of the latter, probably, almost a decade. There is, for example, "So Simply" – and in due time for many listeners it became a sign of a new quality in Iryna's creativity. Or "Obcy Ty" from a rare Polish album that appeared so beautiful that it migrated from there to the Ukrainian-language album "Country" – it is very nice to hear it again. Well and so on, each connoisseur will have his/her own pleasant meeting here, and not one. Eventually, it is really beautiful, strong songs that Iryna Bilyk has never been short of, it would suffice even for several singers. Consider, for example, "Without Name"... Or songs of the latter period, in Russian – they also have found new grateful audience. The disk, thus, is for sure worth paying attention to. Well, and I, on my part, still hope that it is a hint at new turns...

The sounding is rather balanced, suspended, assiduous, washed and shiny, put on high heels and turned to the sunset with its face. Personally I find it to be good, because, the vocal potentialities of Ani Lorak allow her in full to have enough ambitions as for popularity, which may be wider than the territory of Ukraine

I really loved Ірина's latest albums but I didn't feel like purchasing her complete discography. Luckily I got this CD. It includes older hits as well as new ones, both Russian and Ukrainian songs (and one Polish). Some people might desagree about the particular selection; for example I'd have loved to have "Фарби" here, too. But anyway, all the songs are very good and very representative of her art. Anybody seeking for an introduction to Ірина's career should purchase this CD.

Люди добрі! Вона навчила нас бути патріотами, та забула навчити толерантності. Кожен сам робить свій вибір у житті. Білик не стане такою, як була, тільки тому, що нам цього хочеться. Not pleased that Iryna Bilyk is mixing Russian & Ukrainian songs. This furthers the stereotype that Ukrainians & Russians are "all the same." I was waiting for a new album from her - but it looks like she won't have anything new out - only re-mixes of her old stuff. How sad.
