This disc confirms once again – Volodymyr Ivasyuk left a trace after he had passed that will still shine for more than one generation of the young and talented, of Ukrainians and not only. Really, it is hardly possible to doubt that that is exactly how it will be – these songs bring up already the third generation of people able to understand beauty. But every generation contributes into this understanding something new, its own, something that never existed before. That is why no wonder that on this disc one can hear quite modern rhythms and arrangements made with the help of quite modern tools. One would not say that in this updated sounding songs by Volodymyr Ivasyuk lose themselves – the essential thing remains unchanged – but the exterior, sure, turns different. This is normal. Maybe, the senior generation will not like some of that, but for the junior one – that must be just ok.
