Volodymyr Hryshko. Svitovi khity. (World Hits)

Volodymyr Hryshko has for a long time already needed no detailed recommendations. Today his name already works not only for him – it has become a sort of a brand in our contemporary culture, and far not many opera singers have ever managed to achieve this. And the thing here is not only the performance talent – although without it, sure, nothing would work. But Hryshko also has the talent of an organizer – and, which is important, he is not afraid of experimenting. Thus, projects intended to bring beauty and depth of opera art to people distanced from opera are implemented in life. This was the project "Faces of the New Opera" – a brilliant idea that in due time caused considerable resonance. This is also the new noticeable undertaking – "World Hits", an absolutely logical continuation of the previous project. And – practically doomed to success. When a world-known singer performs pieces that are glorified all through the world – is it possible that it won't come into notice? The more so if we know that these pieces now have updated arrangement, and some were even translated from the original language into Ukrainian or Russian – that, sure, inspires interest. And thus – another successful step is made for bringing opera singing closer to the ordinary listener.
