CAMATA. Fire-show.

In some sense this work of art can be considered a slide-project of the group Gutsul Calipso. At least, among musicians involved here you will find the majority of its participants. Common features do not end here – however, there are also more and more differences. Because bright ethnic motives (and not only Ukrainian ones) are also found here at every step – however, they are wrapped in aesthetics of not banter rock, but lounge and new-age. Besides, the natural inclination of the musicians to freedom of creative self-expression has resulted in that in this project solos – both wind and string ones – have more expressive jazz mood. More space, more rhythmic patterns, more attention – the words do not distract. But there is something else. When you glance into the booklet, you will find out that this album is a full-length music interpretation of short poetry and laconic pictures. There is no sense in explaining or retelling that, simply believe – the booklet to this disc really deserves separate gratitude and attention. If music of the album were not interesting, even then this release would be worth buying – for the sake of the booklet, because it is a separate transparent trip. However, we a lucky – the music also opens for us something new indeed. Or, maybe, you know other works in the style of "Carpathians new-age with elements of ethnic jazz"?
