Alla Kudlai has been a worth representative of the Ukrainian variety art. In all different senses. But now we are not going to speak about correspondence or lack of correspondence to certain standards. After all, scenic image of any performer is, as a matter of fact, our common, that is listeners’, creation. We see what we want to see. Still, whatever one may say, all the same the first image-maker is a person who sings. Her personal sucsess depends on how successfully she convinces us of the veracity of her face. As for this particular album, we may say that with it Alla Kudlai confidently portrays the inner and the outer world of a Ukrainian woman of 30 years old or more, of a city dweller, quite successful, but still quite lonely as well. You can notice experience in her eyes, and blind hope, and sunny lawns, and snowy streets. And the strive for what is called a woman’s happiness. Since the music of this album is light, these sketches are taken lightly, without any tension. But life flies by. Both inside and outside. We will see where it will flow out. In this particular case, for example, there are three songs in this album, which Maksim Kudlay performs – one song with Alla, two others – alone.
