From now and till the next time you will have a chance for a somewhat different glance at work of the famous group Vopli Vidoplyasova – at that, in its almost complete volume. Presumably, virtually each of us has once encountered such problem: you like a performer (a group), you like an album (albums), but for yourself you would compile the disc in a bit different way. Well, VV decided to do such work independently. You now see in front of you four discs that together make up a thematic collection of the group's work. Themes of the collections are rock, dancing, ethnic and romantic moods of songs. However, fans of the familiar sounding have no reasons to worry – the songs were not processed extra, this is just an alternative method of combination. And, in the end, it is convenient – I think that there is no need of explaining advantages of such convenience. Thus, from now on it is possible to have pleasure by definition. The more so that there are a few songs that we have not heard for already a long time – and it is always pleasant to discover such things.

In the end of 2011, the group "S.K.A.I." loudly celebrated the 10th anniversary of its existence with a big concert in Kyiv – and with releasing, in fact, the anniversary collection, which you see now. ..this disc is a collection of songs based on Zhadan's poems performed by various Ukrainian groups. "Various" is the key word here, because stylistically the songs represented here differ considerably. There is "Luk" with cosmo-disco, and folk rock by "Vertep", folk-chanson by "Kalektsiya", ethno-lounge by "Ojra", and so on – the mosaics appear surprisingly interesting and bright.

The group that is able to perform sad and philosophical songs with such cheerful light that you do not notice the sadness, and you absorb the philosophy not separately but together with joyful waves – because it does not hit between your eyes, it just naturally exists in this space.

...he is able to write real songs, that is not empty ones – it is not surprising that so many people have taken part in the given project. Thus, twenty talented, famous and not so much performers, twenty songs by "Srjabin" of different years. Twenty meetings with the clever and even rather elegant, but still punk.

At some party where Kuzma was the anchor, the guys from the band helped him to fill in a pause by improvising a samba based on the theme of "Sleep Alone" – and it appeared good. So good that it resulted in real cooperation – and here you see a full-value album of cover versions for Skryabin's song created by musicians of Smack Band.

The only thing that surprises – why only now? For TNMK could sure already afford the luxury of a collection of "golden hits" a few years ago. This disc, evidenntly, does not make any sense for those who have long been acquainted with works by Gontarsky – I suspect that such people, mostly, already have all of his albums. But for those who are only going to make their acquaintance – that really makes sense. Because recommending with which album to start – is too difficult a task.

Unlike condensed milk, this disc does not contain any surpluses of sugar. Rather, vice versa – the guys from Bram Stocker have once again demonstrated clearly who they are. First, they were named a punk-group, though merry. Now, emphasis has shifted a bit, therefore now Bram Stocker is considered though merry, but a punk-group.

It is good that their music obtains more and more popularity, at the same time not becoming too "trimmed". If a rock-group in Ukraine matures to the point of releasing a collection of the best, this testifies not only to its worthy experience, but also to its being in demand – which cannot but be inspiring. It is good that when compiling this collection, Motor'rolla included here simply their favorite songs as well, regardless of their popularity.

The group so obviously grows above itself with every new album, that this stop in-between seems very deserved and appropriate.
