Anna-Marija. Rock legends of Ukraine.

Notwithstanding the fact that this disc was included in the series "Rock-legends of Ukraine", it is not exactly rock. Nevertheless, the group "Anna-Maria" is worthy of notice as it was able to add its name to the history of Ukrainian musical stage. At the end of 1992, for example, the group was recognised the best pop-group of Ukraine and the song of that time entitled "I like you" can be regarded its visiting card even now. Today it may be considered sentimental, but their sound and arrangement unambiguously place them apart from pop-mass of the variety show, favourably distinguishing them from others. And there’s something more. It may be interesting for you to know that just with this group such well-known and recognised singer as Victor Pavlik started his career on a big stage. I shall confess that it was also interesting for me to listen more carefully to young Pavlik before his leaving for Turkey and returning from there.
