Dmytro Hnatjuk. Nich taka misjachna.

It has somehow turned out to be that since childhood I have liked the song "The Moonlit Night" very much. That’s why I prefer it to be performed in the best possible way. In this particular case Dmytro Hnatyuk performs it really in the best way. Personally I like it very much. Still one may say the same about this album in general – I like the songs recorded at it, as well as the way they sound, though generally I listen to somewhat different music. May be the music itself, that is, the choice of musical instruments, is not the main thing here. I think, the main thing here is the voice of Dmytro Hnatyuk. There is something in it, some transparent depth, which does not leave you indifferent, so that you feel that the song is performed not formally, as it happens sometimes, but it comes from inside. That’s the reason why it sounds somehow intimately – as if this person himself once composed this song and still remembers why and how it happened. Though, if you take comic songs, here it is quite the other way round. They are sliding somewhere by themselves. This is the impression I’ve got from this disc. At least, for tonight. May be, it is because of the evening, which is quiet and transparent tonight.

Borys Hmyrya. Za myr na Zemli. (For the Peace on Earth)

The military theme is a special page in life and work of Borys Hmyrya, taking into account his forced stay in the territory of Ukraine occupied by fascists (1941-1944)... Only a crystal clear person could perform pieces by soviet composers on military topics in that way.

Anatoliy Mokrenko. Mariji. (For Maria)

Such voice is just obliged to sound – that is a fact. On the disc offered to you, you will find several folk songs, while the rest are authors' works (which, however, it is also possible to refer to as folk ones already). This is a reflection of the "golden years" of the Ukrainian variety art, the songs created by I.Shamo, O.Bilash, D.Pavlychko, P.Mayboroda...

Volodymyr Hryshko. Svitovi khity. (World Hits)

..the new noticeable undertaking – "World Hits", an absolutely logical continuation of the previous project. And – practically doomed to success. When a world-known singer performs pieces that are glorified all through the world – is it possible that it won't come into notice?
Domestic price: 49.14UAH, International price: $10.92USD

Volodymyr Hryshko. Pisni sertsja. (The songs of the heart)

Actually, we’ve already had an opportunity to make certain of Volodmyr Hryshko’s talent to sing not only opera arias, for example, while listening to his album "To all mothers dedicated…" So "The songs of the heart" can be considered as a sequel to his previous work.

Volodymyr Hryshko. Oblychchja novoji opery. (Face of the New Opera)

Volodymyr Hryshko undertakes a resolute step forward, to meet as wide audience as possible – the interpretations represented here can be played both at home, and on the radio, and at dancing floors. The character of sounding, and complication of rhythmic patterns – that is exactly what is needed to interest young audience.

Volodymyr Hryshko. Usim materjam prysvjachujet'sja... (Dedicated to All Mothers...)

Strange, but, as far as I know, you now see in front of you the first album of the singer famous all over the world, Ukrainian opera tenor Volodymyr Gryshko. This is really strange – especially, considering how many victories, awards, titles he has managed to obtain, on what stages and together with what people he has managed to sing...

Dmytro Hnatjuk. The Best Songs. /digi-pack/

Dmytro Hnatjuk, Kostjantyn Ohnjevyj, Anatoly Solovyanenko, Mariya Stefyuk. Maestros of Ukrainian vocal art.

These people’s singing has already for a long time belonged not only to Ukraine – it belongs to the world. And the world, I am sure, becomes better due to it – each time when their voices sound.
Domestic price: 49.14UAH, International price: $10.92USD

Dmytro Hnatjuk. Cheremshyna.

...this disc is the repeat of the hour of glory and beauty of that Ukrainian variety art, which we now call classical.

Hity ukrajins'koji estrady 50-h rokiv. Golden Collection.

For me it was a real discovery that some of these melodies had been popular half a century ago – you see, I thought they were my contemporaries. Still, this fact by itself counts in favour of the quality of the songs presented here – generations change, but they remain.

Kostiantyn Ohnevyj. Pisni z Ukrajiny. (Songs from Ukraine)

Still it is the singing in the first place. Clear, pellucid and light. You won’t hear anything like that in singing of modern singers.
