A beautiful female voice – it is always something greater than simply a voice. In case of Olga Voychenko – it is considerably more. To say that three and a half octaves are hidden (more precisely, revealed) in it – means to say nothing. It is not enough to have a valuable, high-quality instrument – it is desirable to master it as well. Olga – has mastered it so that we can only be grateful to her. Especially when she sings in lowercase – then, the thought flashes that in Ukraine, presumably, there is simply nobody to compare with her. It is impossible to pass by the voice that shrouds softly, and embarrasses, and lulls, and strains, makes you wait for the next note – and this expectation is so delightful... However, as well as the reward for it... There is something in her singing so brightly real that it hardly ever happens now – it was inherent in jazz times of Ella and Etta, therefore it goes beyond the present time. Thus, it seems to me, the voice of Olga Voychenko is directly related to that fundamental layer without which jazz is impossible at all. And, consequently, it is always modern, actual, as well as any deep jazz. By the way, a great role in creation of such atmosphere was played by Sergey Kapelyushko's guitar. Tender, transparent, masterly, it took the party of the second violin – and successfully replaced a complete band. There are no blank spaces in the album – everything is harmoniously filled. With sounds – and with pauses. That is, probably, it. It only remains to add that a new album is to be released soon. We have been waiting long – "Tenderly" has already become a real rarity. Actually, as far as I now, there are only a few copies of it left in free sale. It seems to be good, but I feel – a bit sorry. Such music must exist in abundance – always...
