"Under the direction of Fr. Deacon Taras Hrudovy, the singers study various sacred musical repertoires, covering different styles. The greatest attention is paid to mastering the most ancient pages of church music: sacred monody... The vocal repertoire of ensemble focuses on the most important events of the church year, in which Lent is of special significance for the liturgical life of the Church. It is on the eve of the bright Feast of the Resurrection that Christians relive the events of the Old Testament, sensing the reality of the biblical stories together with real deeds and personal responsibility before the Lord. The dramatic character of the events and emotions is clearly reflected in the close interlacing of tests and melodies of the Lenten cycle, which are distinct from the yearly liturgical cycle in their artistic brightness, melodic richness, and structural internal contrasts. It is the depth and many-sidedness of these Lenten melodies from the Ukrainian Irmologions of the 16
th and 17
