A rather strange title – but a live history underlies it. Sixty plus years ago Lemkys were evicted, deported from their native lands – therefore now they might be Kyiv, and Polish, and even Siberian ones... Actually, it is for the anniversary of these trials that broke far not one human life that release of the album was intended. But, in spite of all that, this disc is an embodiment of hope and optimism. In fact, despite attempts of authorities, Lemkys have never been destroyed – they live and keep on, even though dispersed all around the world. Their culture has not been destroyed – their customs, the manner of speech, narratives, traditional mores, etc. have been preserved. And the main thing is that their songs have been preserved. Both lyrics, and the manner of performance – if you have already come across it before, you know that Lemkys' song differ very distinctly from any other Ukrainian songs. Strong, deep, they have enormous internal expression – these are songs of really free, brave people. Those who do not boast the strength of their will, do not look depreciatingly at those who live otherwise – and this is, by the way, a sure sign of not a showy but real inner force.
