Shid-Side. SkhidSideMen.

Today, "SkhidSide" is one of the most qualitative, successful and active Ukrainian jazz projects. It is considering the fact that during the last two years the structure of the band has changed thrice, and today only the front-man – the saxophonist Dmitro Oleksandrov is left from the first structure. But he has enough energy to "manage" in parallel two more jazz projects, and to take part in recordings of music of other directions, and to have long everyday exercises, and... however, nothing strange. So simple from the outside, he has in his eyes those very sparkles that distinguish an inspired person from a tired one. He is one of those people who disappear when music starts – there remains only the music, so varied, but always alive. For this reason, it changes time and space – this is why I do not even speak about the masterful performance, it goes without saying. Fortunately, there are a lot of such musicians today in our country – real ones. And, to my greatest satisfaction, you now hear them more and more distinctly. By the way, speaking about the real. It is musicians of the group that said about their "SkhidSideMen" album that the world had seen pure jazz. I won't argue – as personally I had exactly the same feeling about this music. The feeling of pure, fair, simple in its wisdom – fire... And no doubt that this is – real.
