As you can see, Mykhaylo Poplavsky, disregarding the former promises, continues his show business activity. For the joy of himself, and all of us. At least, I find it difficult to remember on the spot at least one other figure on our scene that would manage to provoke so many jokes addressed to him/her – and at that enjoy so wide popularity. In fact, whatever they might say, Mykhaylo Poplavsky has managed to become a real folk hero – and I almost do not exaggerate. Consider yourself – he manages one of the most prestigious universities of the country, co-operates at the equal level with the best representatives of domestic and foreign showbiz. This is on the one hand. And on the other, the man understands perfectly what scale of talents he has, and sings whatever he wants, as he wants, where he wants – and gets sheer satisfaction from that. Because he makes the dream of his childhood come true. And even earns something thus. That's it. That is why even in the title of this disk, there is practically no joke – the songs collected here have really become Ukrainian hits. In the end, there are in the world riddles that just must never be solved. The phenomenon of Mykhaylo Poplavsky – I think, is one of them...
