However, you listen – and wonder how actual a kolomyika composed several, or even several dozens years ago can be. Though, in this case it is not about such old kolomyikas – though you will still hear a few tunes popular in the past – nevertheless. And what if all the point is that Ukraine has got stuck in some languid time, or even between times? That is, the world around us may change – however, in our consciousness almost nothing changes, that is why the same problems as a year, a hundred years ago exasperate us. Yes or not? Well, that's already something everyone should ask to oneself – and Vasyl Melnykovych will gladly offer an occasion for such reflections, and for laughter, and for dancing at the same time.
