Gorgisheli (Ukrainian: ¥îð´³øåë³, Georgian: გორგიშელი) are a Ukrainian pop rock band founded in 2003 in the city of Lviv. The core lineup was known since 1997 as ×îðíèé Âåðåñåíü [Chornyj Veresen'] (Black September). Tamara and Eteri Gorgisheli, two sisters of Georgian ethnicity who were born and have spent all their life in Lviv, are the heart o fthe band. The music of Gorgisheli combines elements of art rock with Georgian and Ukrainian folk music.The band took part in a number of nationwide festivals, they also played at Maidan during Orange Revolution.
The band released their debut album "Amore" in 2006.
