Studio recordings also have such a powerful charge of a free movement that after all you don’t know whether to envy or to sympathise with people who practically always live in such movement – I mean Tartak in general and Sashko Polozhynskyi in particular.

...all folklore material was collected and worked out by the group "Huljajhorod", while all modern material was created by "Tartak". Personally I will add that the combination of these two directions of movement gave a very sharp and unusual result...

"Tartak" is now, presumably, one of the most energetic Ukrainian projects – in the both senses. Both in musical one, because this semi-crazy fest of motion and rhythm started a few years ago and lasts until now, not losing its intensity. And – in the sense of recording.

This mp3 disc has become not the only reminder about the bright phenomenon named "Tartak" during the last months. There have already been new clips, and collection releases, and the football fever. And now – we have the opportunity to receive all that in one. Well, almost all.

The variations differ from each other so much that you have nothing to do but be surprised – this sounds similarly cool with Balkan themes, and with electronic funk, and in other versions. Thus, I think, this disk can interest not only fans of "Tartak" but considerably wider audience as well.

No old definitions will match here, because "Tartak" in this disk make both something new for themselves, and not quite usual for Ukrainian scene. Persistent lyricism, angry tenderness, complaisant straightforwardness, hard mildness – I do not know how to hint otherwise...

A collection of all available video clips by the group Tartak. At that, really of all currently existing ones – even the freshest video for the song "Not Saying to Anyone" performed together with Andriy Pidluzhny (a.k.a. Nichlava and Old Andron) has appeared here. Thus, enjoy – Tartak has deserved the glory of one of the most energetic groups of Ukraine, among other things, due to its videos.

Tartak has quite a lot of real songs. And now – we have the opportunity to obtain everything at once. Well, almost everything – for there must be some intrigue, a hint at continuation left. And we really should not doubt the fact that Tartak's creativity will have its continuation.

...the disc has two very important features. First – it is very energetic, saturated, as well as any album by Tartak. Second – in its sounding there is absolutely no aggression, inflexibility, tension. Conclusion: "For Those On the Way" can really become a great present for all those who push the steering wheel. It will cheer up, will not let them fall asleep – and will not strain, will not result in driving nervously.

...he is able to write real songs, that is not empty ones – it is not surprising that so many people have taken part in the given project. Thus, twenty talented, famous and not so much performers, twenty songs by "Srjabin" of different years. Twenty meetings with the clever and even rather elegant, but still punk.

This time, there is a small intrigue. First, a pleasant bonus – there are not twenty songs on the disk but twenty-two. And, secondly, it seems that for the first time the collection of this kind contains an identical number, that is eleven, songs in Ukrainian and in Russian.

Actually, the very fact that this collection of festival records has appeared to the light of the day is already quite a good present to all fans of live Ukrainian music. Both for those who saw and heard these performances with their own ears or eyes – and, certainly, for those who have never had a chance during 2004-2006 to visit the festival. But the compilers went a bit farther in the pleasantrie...

We should admit, the collection has appeared to be great – it is not just pleasant and interesting to listen to. It gives multiple occasions to be proud of that Ukrainian rock music, in spite of the frequently scornful attitude on the part of mass media, still not just lives on – but becomes more and more diversified, deep, strange, high-quality.

...it is nice to see that this collection was made obviously not automatically, but consciously – both the cast list, and the list of songs leave no space for doubt. Moreover – and that is even more pleasant – you cannot have heard a lot of the songs represented here until now anywhere but for the radio and music channels, because they have not yet been released as parts of albums.

For those who did not know: Oleg Skrypka organized another interesting event in Kyiv – the festival "Moloda Gvadrdiya" devoted to the Ukrainian heroic song. And one of realizations of this project, apart from holding the festival, is release of a collection of, actually, those very heroic songs. It appeared that this theme was able to inspire and induce to individual creativity.

This one is a really powerful record – the best of the series. And, definitely, one of the best rock albums in general for the last couple of months. Besides, it presents a number of songs that haven’t had any official release yet – that’s exclusive!
