"The album that we offer for attention of fans of folklore authenticity is an anthology of the Ukrainian long - "plangent" lyrics. Till recently such songs were widespread in the spaces of the pre-steppe belt of the middle Naddnipryanschina – the lands of the modern border area of Cherkasy and Kirovograd oblasts. These songs are almost forgotten now. Folklore experts Oleksander and Natalia Tereschenko grasped the chance to record the remainder of the rare material of the "golden time" of the folklore tradition and to bring it back from ruins, having reproduced it in the polyphonic two-parts texture.

Music stylistics of this land is characterized by the taste of slow singing, lingering melosis and spacious text vocalizing. Performers do not limit themselves in time in order to properly "draw the voice", prolong the happy moment of the harmonious combination in singing...
