Stetsenko's large cyclical works, written for church services, are performed today in concerts both as cycles and in excerpts. On this disc, special consideration was given to the expression of choral proclamations and to the observance of traditional cantoral and psalmodic chants that interpolate and unify the music.

Я давно хотів придбати диски церковного співу, цей диск сподобався мені відразу, але я продовжував шукати. Після пошуків я тільки пересвідчився що для мене це найкраще. Хоча вартість їх і вища ніж інших - вони того варті.

This Orthodox Church music is incredibly beautiful and ethereal, making one feel they are, indeed, in a holy place. I would recommend it highly to anyone who enjoys the a capella singing of Church music. As always, I am in awe of the ability to sing a capella and stay on perfect pitch!
