The new disc by Mandry (Wayfaring) is simultaneously a welcome and a farewell. Welcome – because it is the first concert album of the group that has had a long glory of benevolent, elevated energy of their performances. Though, a few years ago there did appear a solo recording by Foma "Concert in the Golden Gate" – also, by the way, a positive disc. But it is clear that a solo performance is one thing, and the complete group is quite another one. The more so – if the thing is, as here, a performance at such a wide-scale festival as Krayina Mriy (Dreamland). Who was there knows – Krayina Mriy opens groups very brightly, because there exists a peculiar, very saturated atmosphere, own large space. And to say that Mandry felt in this space as an oyster in water – is to say nothing, because their performance became a real explosion of positive emotions. It is very nice that this charge can be perfectly captured on the disc as well – indeed good, high-quality recording. It will be able to bring pleasure not only to fans of Mandry, but also to all those who value concert albums as such – because here they have really "caught the tail" of the live energy, everything is precise. This is about the welcome. Well, and farewell... It lies in that, possibly, this is the last recording by Mandry in the folk-rock manner, to which everybody has already had time to get used. Mandry are resolute to give up their habitual image, style – and to discover something new. We already have had a chance to hear the first experiments on the album "Road". Well, and now, after such bright farewell, the only thing to do is to wait for the next curve – and to turn for sure. In the end, the name obliges to search, doesn't it? And – to discover. Inna Prokopchuk could be earlier heard in the folklore group "Lukiny Rosy". But starting from 2006, a new group at her participation began swiftly spinning up – actually, that is DrymbaDaDzyga. At that, the whirl sped up so quickly that the motherland did not even have time to really notice how another bright flower of folk-funk-rock bloomed in its fields.

On the one hand, breathing of the overcrowded hall, live communication, the impression of closeness. And on the other – even here, at the distance of a stretched arm, Mertvy Piven somehow managed to keep the atmosphere characteristic of them... transparent alienation, maybe. They seem to be here – but obviously somewhere else as well. Woven from sun and fog...

Actually, the very fact that this collection of festival records has appeared to the light of the day is already quite a good present to all fans of live Ukrainian music. Both for those who saw and heard these performances with their own ears or eyes – and, certainly, for those who have never had a chance during 2004-2006 to visit the festival. But the compilers went a bit farther in the pleasantrie...

This time this is an alive recording during a concert, a kind of distinctive unplugged, as Foma accompanies his singing with a guitar only. Still because of that songs do not lose anything. Most likely it, as usual, gives the opportunity to listen more attentively to singing itself, exactly to inner melody of the songs, and they do not lack it at all.

An outstanding live CD from Mandry! The energy of the show is truly captured and the mastering on the disc is outstanding with no loss of sound quality from being live. After the average last studio album, "The Way", this is a true return to form. At a time when folk rock is getting recognition worldwide and in a perfect world, Mandry would be bigger internationally than Gogol Bordello (USA), Haydamaky (UA) and Goran Bregović (Serbia) put together.

An excellent live recording which brings across the energy of the performance. High quality and a great version of "Kolo Mlinu" (without the silly voices of the studio recording). The only let down are the radio announcer-style song title intros at the start of songs, which are unnecessary. Still - can't stop listening!

Гарний альбом "У країні мрій", але мені більше подобається альбом "Дорога".
Три пісні з альбому "Дорога" півторюються у альбомі "У країні мрій". Хіт Калина-супер... Хлопці молодці... Треба більше нових пісень...

Одержав вельми незвичні враження від першого слухання цього диску, адже в 2005 році чув усе те живцем, і мимохіть порівнював теперішні враження з тодішніми. Порядок пісень на диску змінений, бо, скільки пам'ятаю, концерт починався з "Легенди...", крім того внесені поетичні вставки, які, при всій їх чарівності, перебивали, як мені спершу видалося, загальний ритм концерту. Однак через невеликий час я почав ставитися до цього диску не як до такого, що має цілковито відтворювати той живий концерт, а як до своєрідного творіння, і, маю сказати, що цим творінням цілком задоволений :) . Прихильникам "Мандрів" однозначно рекомендую: гарний запис і запальне виконання.

Дуже приємні в раження.
Дійсно, дуже якісний запис, звучить значно краще студійних альбомів.
І пісні вдало скомпоновані. Навіть автографи є, як на концерті побував! :)

Hello To All, My daughter wanted this cd when I told her about it. She likes it very much and sings along with them now since she has played it so many times. As usual I hear good crisp recording, no errors and I like the music also. I studied Russian Language and am not familiar with many Ukrainian words and phrases as yet. We all like the music lots,,,Sincerely, Terrance, Ekaterina and Svetlana Norris

Nadzvychaynyj dysk! Najkrascha zbirka Mandriv i ne tilky jih. Pisnja Kolo Mlynu je unikalnoju, vid neji nemozlyvo vidirvatysja (ne demoversija). Taki bez problem mozhut peremahaty i na Eurovision. Shkoda scho ne buv v Ukrajini na koncerti u 2005. I shkoda scho Mandry zminujut styl, bo vony je NEPEREVERSHENYMY v Ukrajinskomu folk. A nova pisnja Doroha ne daje optymizmu, scho vony budut dostatnjo cikavymy na cjomu shljahu. Ale - zychu velykyh uspihiv. Djakuju za autografy.
