If you do not know how the cover for this disc was created – you should read the satirical article by Taras Prohasko "Photos, Fellini and "Sharika"". Strongly recommended (by the way, if I am not mistaken, Prohasko's face can be also seen on this cover). However, the issue is not literature now. But one of the best Ukrainian groups in the folk-ska style: Perkalaba does not yield its positions, vice versa – it spins up. Considering their fantastic energy, it seems almost impossible, but – it is a fact. Just now this reckless drive transforms into a somewhat different quality, another dimension. Actually, it is rather difficult to describe this with words. If earlier music by Perkalaba resembled a continuous squall, powerful flow, which blew the audience off from their seats and carried somewhere far away... Now – whirlpools appear in the flow sporadically. They seem to be quiet outside, but they suck you in, make you dive deep – and there, in the depth, each time you find something new, unexpected. Perkalaba has managed what seems impossible – to merge folk-ska and psychedelics, not forgetting about banter as well. Both in music and in the lyrics. Movement in this direction took place before, but now it has acquired even brighter, more expressive features. And this, you know, takes you away. If it goes on... however, there is no sense in imagining that. It is better to listen to it now – to wait – and to listen again.

Yurcash really was not going to disappoint all those whom he managed to surprise so positively. The second album is also a sort of a "hodgepodge" of different, almost incompatible styles and moods, from hardcore to acid chanson. Though, there are now fewer "heavy" music remarks – however, it does not seem to be a severe loss. And the banter in the texts – has become more varied, diversified.

...all folklore material was collected and worked out by the group "Huljajhorod", while all modern material was created by "Tartak". Personally I will add that the combination of these two directions of movement gave a very sharp and unusual result...

...the first album is a convincing evidence of the fact that this group is capable of making experiments deeply and finely through mixing ethno, acid, trance, rock and fly-agaric and at the same time remembering the taste. The group "VV" has recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their creative life – and have released a new album. The age is respectable not only for a group – even for a person it is already quite a lot. One can – and should – sum up some results and draw conclusions. Actually, the album "There Were the Days" has become this kind of summarizing.

You should only listen how the audience reacts at this concert, not understanding a word, but feeling that one hundred percent – here is the sign of authenticity. And, no doubt, "VV" is genuinely characterized by this sign.

The overwhelming majority of songs are Ukrainian folk songs known to everybody. But you may never have heard them being performed in such a manner so far. If we mix this cuisine up on hard and forceful guitar reefs, as well as on violent drums, we will get a cocktail that blows up right before our eyes.

Як я зрозумів з попередніх відгуків - мені пощастило, що першим придбав і прослухав саме другий альбом. Адже якщо він настільки гірше дебютного, але все одно приємно дивує і ростягує в посмішці, то "Горрри!" має розірвати!
(ІМХО - не люблю "сюржіка" і матів, проте Байки Івана Івановича - найприємніша "безкультурщина" з чутих мною)

Після вибухового =ГОРРИ!= чекав на щось подібне.
Але.. Щось не тОркнуло. Крім треків =Просеракамера", =4 танкісти= та ще одного-двох. Але ще одне "але" )))
Бо це все ж таки ПЕРКАЛАБА! Фірмові саунд та драйв все ж присутні на цьому альбомі. Раджу купити.

серед почутого найбільше сподобався "гімн Івано-Франківська" - пафосний мега-стьоб з нашого рагулізму. Байки Івана Івановича - класно. "Коровки моєї не виділи?" - весело.
Все інше - або давно відоме і давно гране на концертах (років зо два) або просто слабке-ніяке.
Ну ше бонус-треки на другому диску потішили. А загальне враження - диск моїх сподівань не виправдав.

По сравнению с первым альбомом, полное говно(за исключением второго диска). Видимо все идеи ушли в помощь группе "Рура", которому "Перкалаба" помогали.
В результате мы получили синдром второго альбома.

Так же, как и Роман из Харькова, приобрела под впечатлением прочитанного в журнале Корреспондент отзыва об этом диске. Не могу сказать, что не понравился, просто это не моя музыка. Наверное на концерте это было бы веселее, а просто слушать диск - мне было скучновато. Оформление диска отличное.

Диск придбав під впливом прочитаного про групу. в загальному, враження не таке приємне, як очікувалося - група видається преш за все цікавими імпровізаторами на відомі мелодії, ніж оригінальними творцями. Аранжування пісень цікаве, мені сподобалося.

Просто альбом "говорить Івапно-франківськ" більш спокійний в порівнянні з "Горрри!" Але байки Івана Івановича... Мегазачот. Перкалаба - намбер уан:)

Ну що сказати про другий альбом? Ніби то все добре, але-але-але... Не дотягли хлопці-перкалабці до рівня першого свого мастерпісу. Горрри -- то був вибух, а цей альбом дещо вторинний на фоні першого. Отака фігня, малята.. Не знаю чи варто купувати третій диск, а от на концерти ходити просто треба!

Дорогий і вельмишановний - вітаю! - дякую за увагу. Але про гавтомати Ви трохи тойво, проґавили... УМКА - це ручна робота. Моїх текстів це також стосується вповні - я їх пишу українською, я їх перекладаю російською. Без прог, але нема куди правди діти - часом українська і російська дійсно дуже схожі, вибачте вже)) Чи Вас, навпаки, засмутили якісь розбіжності? Не переймайтеся і в цьому випадку, будьте ласкаві. Я маю право на розбіжності - і інколи ним користуюся. При нагоді - буду і надалі)) Як назбираєте конкретні зауваження - пишіть, уважно ознайомлюсь. А загальні фрази - вибачте...
