Taking into account the title, is it worth while expecting from this collection to have something unexpected about it? You will not believe, but it is! As usual it might be two dozens of songs performed by one more or less decent synthesizer. But here everything is real. At that, not only real – there are a lot of rarities here, which are not so easy to be dug out, moreover, they are practically never broadcast nowadays. The matter is that the recordings from the archives of the National radio company of Ukraine make the basis of this collection. That is, everything is not only real, but also very skilfully performed. Since the title says everything by itself, then it is quite understandable that the songs chosen for this collection are far from being sad – one may have a long party with them as they keep up high spirits very well. It is not shameful to play them to people who know practically nothing about Ukrainian folk music. With such collection one may start his acquaintance with the Ukrainian music – it is quite clear.
