One may say for sure that the second solo album by Fozzey from TNMK is more precise, defined than the first one. Here, there is nothing superfluous in music – and nobody. This time, there are even several times fewer invited musicians than in the first album. And, probably, it is the thing that influences – nothing is blurred, everything looks volumetric and clear. Even the texts – there are no exaggerated tragedies and comedies, thrillers, etc. Simple stories told without excessive pathos, without picturesque poses – our cities, our lives appear in them. Without moralizing, without instructive intonations, without pressure – and it is for this reason, however surprising, that you listen to it very attentively. And it intersects with your own ideas, with your own stories and other people’s fragments – and, starting from a certain moment, this album is no longer mono, but stereo. Maybe, it will once arrive at polyphony... Anyway, the disk has appeared quite serious. You would not play it for the sake of entertainment – it is necessary to listen to this disk attentively, thoughtfully. As, irrespective of the name, it is not a monologue. Fozzey speaks not to an imaginary shadow, but to an interlocutor. To you. Listen – and respond.
