Your probable assumption that Leniye Izmaylova is somehow related to the virtuoso guitarist
Enver Izmaylov known in the whole world – is true. Related directly – she is his native daughter and student. Actually, that is why you should not doubt – you will hear his unsurpassed playing on this disc as well. But in the center, however, is Leniye, who has a very interesting, bright voice and, moreover, a no less interesting performance manner. She decided not to squeeze her debut album in any harsh thematic or stylish frames. Actually, the name "Travelling by Crimea" testifies exactly to this – during the trip, it will be possible to meet various, absolutely differing compositions here. The main thing that unites them is the oriental intricacy in melodies and the southern passion in performance. So, largely, you have in store a pied trip – from folk songs to rock, from ethno-jazz to covers of world hits (it is a pity that "Caravan" does not appear here). The disc has appeared varicolored, heterogeneous – as well as the Crimea through which it will virtually lead us. We could say that this is a bright start. It testifies to an outstanding potential – which promises to bring joy in the future, and not once.
