Sentimony Records led by the duet Sphingida continues releasing new discs – and making us enjoy their content. At that, there is a lasting impression that collections by this recoding studio – good, aren't they – become even better each time. Pleasant impression, sure. It is also pleasant that the recoding studio remains devoted to its own principles of compiling – that is why on the disc one can hear not only Ukrainians. This time, apart from Russian compositions, the collection even contains a Panamanian one. However, Ukrainians obviously prevail all the same – and this also warms our souls. Because this testifies once again: who is not lazy discovers prophets in his/her own land. Another feature of the present collection is that virtually all music represented here contain various oriental strokes. Not too bright or obtrusive – they do not strike the eye rudely, but they do not hide too far either. This adds to the compositions – and to the disc as a whole – delicate colors, fresh aroma. To make it short, merge into it – it is worth doing that.

Despite the fact that Oleh Serdyuk (Younnat) is the keyboard player of the band Luk – or maybe right because of that – the world sees already his second solo album. This time on the physical medium. And it’s great that it was issued, as Oleh creates interesting, ambiguous music..

The compilers have really worked well – the amount of good findings positively impresses. In fact, the recording house does not limit itself to geographical or political boundaries in search for talented residents – and the more pleasant it is that the absolute majority of the participants are Ukrainians. And a greater number of the tracks cause the desire to hear more complete versions – fully fledged albums.

You see, it is only music and in it each listener will find not so many things, which the composer has painted, but the things, which are in the listener himself.

This music is not making haste, either. It is peering into the night, inside of itself, into reflection of its eyes in dark water – and becomes fast. It is flirting with a stranger, but not seducing – it is playing easily, half in jest and with a smile.

Ten compositions – so different, but also so similar. The difference is in details: melodies, rhythms, the general structure. Similarity – in that all the tracks have avoided monotony, the structure is not monotonous, there are frequently some turns, development. But – fluently, softly, elegantly.

This time – as well as on the later album "Unexplored World" – Hektor Mukomol creates worlds and spaces not alone. The immersion took place with the help of Vitaly Tatsyak, who played the bamboo flute. This is not the only, however, presumably, one of basic reasons, why the feeling arises as though you merge into three worlds at once.

Music is usually a guide – in various places – and a purposeful guide. But high-quality ambient, as to me, does not send a listener in any concrete direction. It, as a bullet, grows harmoniously, broadens in all directions at once – and, in fact, that is what happens to the audience.
