It would seem that Asia Ahat has used a not that complicated recipe: sounding of a violin plus light, popular music. But the recipe appeared efficient and very timely – that is why popularity came almost instantly. On the one hand, a professional team that was from the very beginning aimed at serious quality helped her. On the other, let us not forget that Asia had higher education in music and experience of performances with classic repertoire – that is, she was a professional musician even before the beginning of her solo career. As a result, Asia Ahat has created a brand that till recently did not have real competitors in the Ukrainian scene at all. Then she began not only playing, but also singing – and, thus, brought her music closer and made it more understandable for even a wider audience. Popularity of the next albums proved that. Well, and with her last album she as though again returns into the domain of lounge – but in a softer, more relaxed manner than it was at the beginning. And – she did that right, the disc has appeared virtually the best one of all. Let us hope that Asia will continue moving in this direction in future.
