The variations differ from each other so much that you have nothing to do but be surprised – this sounds similarly cool with Balkan themes, and with electronic funk, and in other versions. Thus, I think, this disk can interest not only fans of "Tartak" but considerably wider audience as well.

All the three versions of the Hymn are variations in the range from gospel and soul to swing – and, to tell you the truth, all the tracks sound just cool. Common sense seems to prompt that we should expect for a skeptical attitude to this kind of experiments. But, dear guests, I insist – the disc is a very qualitative, joyful, live present for all admirers of jazz.

the son of her 'dyki tantsi' album is somehow a remix of
some tracks of the ukrainian CD (shigirigidayday from Kolomyyka, hey ya hey
and trembity from znayu ya, etc.) and this track took the best of the spirit
of all these previous wild dances. The result is obvious, this is simply the
best track of that hutsulkyy project !!! Some people would certainely be
more precise to comment on it, but english is not my native language so I
can't hardly explain all the feelings and thoughts I had concerning that
song. Deeply influenced by ukrainian folkore, modernised in an outstanding
way, I shall hope Ruslana shew the way and made people to get interested in
using our folklore as a basic to our modern songs - as turkish, spanish or
greeks composer are already doing now, and they do very well ! Only for this
song, Ruslana deserves respect, as a composer, singer and performer ! The
whole CD is enjoyable, but to be honest I'm not such a fan of remixes
generally, but I must admit the ones on the CD are quite good, if not very
good. I loved to discover the full ukrainian version of wild dances, which
is according to me better than the english one (some differences in the
backing vocal wich make that track more ethnic). The insrumental version
shew me how GREAT the arrangement was ! it is nearly self-sufficient ! On a
word : Congratulations, Ruslano !

I am very surprised to see so many reviews from Oz and the UK! I am an Englishman living in the US...see other reviews. Wild Dances is more than high energy on its own but what a delight to hear it in Ukrainian! Nevertheless, the remixes add such a dimension to this music that I fall flat on my face when I try to talk about it.
Is there any way I can tell people through this review that they should just buy Ruslana's music and take it on faith?

I had to get this as I had the other 2 CD singles ...The title says it all..
So many tracks 14... This with the others are excelent value and I would say to anyone BUY ALL THREE Singles and enjoy some of the best music around...

SINGLE – WILD DANCES
The Ukrainian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 and one of Ruslana’s most famous songs is a good one! This CD contains many mixes of the song ‘Wild Dances’ or ‘Äèê³ Òàíö³’ both in English and Ukrainian. My favourite songs on this CD single are Wild Dances - (Part 2 - Exclusive Complete Version) and Äèê³ Òàíö³ (Wild Dances - Ukrainian Version. Brilliant!
