Recording of this album acquired quite wide publicity, especially in electronic media – but we will remind you something, for someone is going to read this in a few years as well. "Chosen by People" – because Mertvy Piven, having decided to release a collection of the best songs, honestly gathered them by their fans' hands. Thus, free voting, real democracy. And the fans, in their turn, had time to start missing songs which the group had not recollected for more than ten years then – that is why they spontaneously agreed to vote mainly for old songs, not new ones. Such nation-wide plotting. Truly real democracy) And – it worked, that is why the disc includes only two songs from the latest album, despite the great adoration it enjoys. Well, and the group made another favor – and decided to record the disc live, therefore on the disc people hear their voice quite literally (plus another present – the miraculously preserved video for the song "Cold"). The recording concert took place in a Kyiv club – rather cramped as for such a widely advertised event. But as a result the recording surprisingly merges two opposite feelings. On the one hand, breathing of the overcrowded hall, live communication, the impression of closeness. And on the other – even here, at the distance of a stretched arm, Mertvy Piven somehow managed to keep the atmosphere characteristic of them... transparent alienation, maybe. They seem to be here – but obviously somewhere else as well. Woven from sun and fog...
