When the day is boring and you do not want to be bored – you badly need this particular disc to change your spirits from bad into cheerful ones. There’s not so many rockabilly performers in Ukraine whose creative activity is so much stuffed with Ukrainian pepper that you get full of it over head and ears. "Ot vinta" is a good example of such a group. But for all that, rockabilly itself is the music which is Western, that is, American by its nature. And it is more pleasant when it acquires a new interesting colouring. This album is a real whirligig which does not allow anybody just to sit still and to spit out of the window. It makes you move and I think, it is for better.

"Terrors and Roads Ahead" became a real hit on the drill square of Ukrainian army a few months ago. And I will not be surprised if something of the kind will happen to a few fresh songs as well. To sum it up – we can say that the boys have again convincingly confirmed their reputation of a group with reckless energy, positive charge.

...for Ukraine this group and this album present a real classical music. Even today there are not so many groups, which are interested in real rockabilly, and the group “Mad Heads” is undoubtedly the best known among them...

дякуємо за уважність) Ми й самі ставили собі питання з цього приводу - і однозначної відповіді не знайшли. В наведених Вами статтях, нажаль, немає аргументації.
Наразі ж пропонуємо альтернативний погляд (джерело - javot.net/mova/orf.htm):
Подовжені приголосні і позначення їх
В українській мові звуки приголосні звуки можуть подовжуватися.
Подовжуються звичайно звуки [н], [л], [д], [дз], [з], [т], [ц], [с], [дж], [ж], [ч], [ш].
Подовжені приголосні вимовляються трохи протяжніше, ніж звичайно, і на письмі позначаються подвоєнними буквами: обличчя, віддаль, відкриття, знання, беззмінний, життя.
Але подвоєні звуки не завжди читаються як подовжені: возз'єднаний [возйеднаний], міськком [м’іс'ком].
Найчастіше це трапляється в іншомовних словах: барокко [бароко], Калькутта [кал'кута], фінн [ф’ін], меккський [мекс'кий] (але: Мекка [мекка])
(...) але:
У загальних іншомовних назвах букви звичайно не подвоюються: колектив, каса, група, маса, колона, хобі, алегорія, шосе.
Словом, відповідь не є такою вже очевидною.

Диск виключно позитивного формату, як взагалі і вся творчість От Вінтів, при прослуховуванні вже абсолютно увага не звертається на те, що рокабілі - то дещо не наш формат - пісні просякнуті простим, можливо дещо схибленим ("Лохи") гумором, приємною лірикою ("Пісня конвалій"), рекомендується до прослуховування усім, хто шанує рідне і любить підтримувати чудовий настрій нескладними мотивчиками :)
з.і. не меншої уваги варті і їхні альбоми "Попереду" та "Дарма я наївся цибулі". І якщо останній по тематиці ще досить схожий на "Дригтиндимбу", то "Попереду" вже є переважно обробкою народних козацьких пісень, що дає можливість використовувати треки як неофіційні маршові (наприклад, для масової пробіжки :) )

Альбом дуже гарний, хоча об'єм дещо малуватий. Але музика без сумніву варта його купівлі :)
