Dozens of millions of people, probably, remember well that real glory came to Alexander Malinin due to Russian romances – the glory that was, sure, deserved. Actually, since then and until now few people could compete with him in the beauty of performance – and now we will have another proof of that. How it happened that Alexander Malinin has paid such intent attention to Ukrainian songs – remains a mystery. Here, he releases already a second album of Ukrainian songs – this is, ladies and gentlemen, no joke, this is a tendency) However, let the mystery stay – it creates pleasure already just with the fact of its existence. In the end, for a creative person there is no occupation more decent than – washing out, elimination of borders among cultures, among people. And, it seems to us, that is how it is necessary to perceive this kind of steps – when Malinin sings Ukrainian songs, when Run sings Irish songs, when Burdon plays Romanian melodies, when virtually the whole world dances accompanied by African rhythms... In such moments it even occurs that globalization also has certain positive aspect, does not it? At least, one thing can be stated for sure: Alexander Malinin sings Ukrainian songs better than many of those who would have to do that well just because of the right of birth, to say nothing about education and various titles.
