The series "Ukrainian Mp3 Collection" represents not just an abundant variety of materials – on these discs you will find a number of curios things, rarities of funds recordings. The collection of Ukrainian folk tales, which you now see, is not an exception. A lot of these audio plays are today not one dozen years old (really, isn't it interesting – to listen now to a recording of, say, 1948?). And, you know, they sound very bright. Strictly speaking, not all modern analogues of similar recordings reach as high level as these ones – at least, if the question is the mastery of performance, the actor art. By the way, maybe you will be pleased to hear here voices of actors who today represent the glory and pride of Ukrainian culture – as, for example, Bohdan Stupka. However, in spite of everything said above, the major value of this disc is not rarity, and not the glorified performers but the fairy-tales. Folk, adapted, literary ones – various. But all of them are living, clever, kind, wise, light. Cool.
