Pikkardiyska Tertsiya has long been a certain high quality standard. Therefore, when turning on their new disk, the only question you ask is: what is the theme this time? Well, here are some of the names of lyrics and music authors: Kuzminsky, Smyk, Panchyshyn, Morozov, Ivasyuk, Shevchenko, Kuzmenko, Antonych, Vesolovsky, Mozhovy. Stylistically, the new piece fits somewhere between the albums "Anthology. Vol.1" and "Etudes": unlike in the latter one, there is almost no jazz aftertaste here, but regarding diversity of the source material – it definitely does not yield to it. Bard songs, variety art, retro, rock, pop, folk – the basis of "Fly..." is motley. But when performed by Tertsiya, the diversity of the basis is overweighted by the beauty of melodies and the sparks of the nuances in arrangements. It's amazing how the art of careful and caring interpretation makes it possible to combine so different authors under one cover, but – Pikkardiyska Tertsiya is really among those cases where the words about music as a universal language do not seem superfluous. Separately, pay attention to the bonus tracks – no comments, just listen.

Beauty Band. Don't Forget...

First, as of the moment of its creation in 2000 this was – and, it seems, still is – the only female a capella jazz quintet in Ukraine . Secondly, the album was released in 2002. Honestly speaking, we no longer even hoped to see it in our catalogue. Currently, such a capella Ukrainian CDs as "Don't Forget..." or, say, "Interlacing" are a real great rarity.
