Alena Vinnitskaya is the first Ukrainian alternative popular style artist. Alena is the author and the performer of her own music and lyrics. During three years of her carrier as the solo artist she has released 2 albums "Sunrise" and "007". Her third album with preliminary name "Dolls" is going to be released on the 23rd of April 2006.
Alena has started to write songs in the childhood and was sending them in the newspaper "Pionerskaya Pravda". Some time later Alena has become a fan of the band "Kino" and thanks to this has started to play the guitar.
In 1993 Alena is creating her first group "The Last Unicorn", where she appears as the author of her music and lyrics. The first concerts are taking place in Kyiv Central Hospital. Unfortunately, the first attempt to become an artist collapsed: not enough information and badly developed Ukrainian business forced the group to stop their activity.
During these few years Alena is working as the insurance agent, but is always thinking about the creation of her own band. In 1996 Alena is giving up her work in the insurance company in hope of self-actualization. The long searches of her own way have been started. Alena has been playing in the Theater of the Ecology Institute, in Psychological Theatre etc.
A year later the troupe broke up because of not very strong management. Alena again is looking for herself and for her own way. At the end of 1997 she has discovered a new profession for her — TV hostess at the music channel Biz TV. Some time later the future singer becomes a hostess of the other TV program "FAN CLUB" at the "Inter" channel. At the same time Alena is starting to work as a DJ of the radio station.
The debut work of Alena as the independent artist has become mega hit "Forget It All", which has reached the top of popularity in Ukrainian and Russian hit-parades. Soon the second hit of the singer appeared- it has been the "Sunrise", the single "Tormented Heart" followed it. These mega popular songs became a sunrise of Alena Vinnitskaya as the independent, thinking singer. Some time later Alena is playing on the scene together with "The Cardigans", who came to Ukraine to give their one concert. Before the concert Nina Person has listened for a few Alena’s works and remained satisfied, saying during the press-conference that she liked the songs of Alena Vinnitskaya.
In the year 2004 Alena signed the agreement with the representative of world famous recording company "Universal Studio" and soon the first album of the singer "Sunrise" appeared.
A year later the second album "007" represented Alena in traditionally male role — as the secret agent. Alena has brilliantly coped with so complex and male character, proposing to the audience her own version of James Bond music. The album also contains new visions of singer’s famous hits in performance of the best DJ’s in the country.
The premier of the new song "Dolls", the main song to the third Alena’s album took place on the 13-th of February 2006, a video version of this work has been proposed to the audience a week later.
Alena, as usual, is the author of music and lyrics.
In spring 2006 the third album of Alena Vinnitskaya is going to appear.
"This is one of the most free and courageous works of us", Alena says.
The album of dance music "Electro" appeared in January 2007. "Electro" consists of 12 first-class songs, 12 hits tested time in the absolutely new sounding. It has amazing remixes of the best Alena's songs, that shows actuality of hers music not only on radio and TV, but also in clubs.
