The Hardkiss

The Hardkiss – Ukrainian progressive-pop music band. Each concert – new fashion look and unique live sound.

NY Times and NME mentioned of the band in its materials. The band performed at MIDEM festival, shared the stage with Hurts, Solange Knowles, Narada Michael Walden, Oliver Koletzki. Played at grand opening of the Free Calisthenics world championship.

In 2012 The HARDKISS were the nominees of the international MTV EMA award ("Best Ukrainian Act") and of the national music award YUNA, having won in two nominations — "The best new act" and "The best music video" (Make-Up).

In 2013 The HARDKISS became "voice and face" of the PEPSI TM in Ukraine and the nominees of YUNA in the nomination "The best band".

..it is clear this was a considerable piece of work – but it is the "work" that you actually don't hear. One can hear – clear energy, passion, and the ability to present simple lines in a truly delicious way. However, not all the arrangements are that straightforward and, given the "lightness" of the genre, this approach especially pleases.

After release of the song "Zhuravli", it became clear: some inner turn should be expected from The Hardkiss. Because it was something quite unexpected. Tender and transparent – but also deep, penetrating, and conscious of its own power. And the premonition tuned out right, the album "The Iron Swallow" is really a step forward in several directions at once..

The ACOUSTIC program did not still become a full-fledged unplugged. The concert was also complemented by a group of strings, winds, percussion – in short, the sound turns out somewhat unexpected and very rich, the arrangements could not remain unchanged either. The habitual drive has not disappeared, though, it has shifted to a slightly different plane.
