In spite of the fact that this album is an electronic one, personally I associate it with my childhood, though being a child I knew nothing about electronic music. May be, the explanation is that the album contains the melodies, which I heard by radio in those times. Truth to tell, then I took them exclusively as a background. With this album the background is exactly an electronic filling – though this is the background filled with its own patterns, moves and branches. Still, the melodies, whose age is practically impossible to identify, advance to the forefront. May be it is possible to say that these are not the melodies from the childhood of separate person, but these are the melodies of the Ukrainian people in general and of the Ukrainian land as well. In that way, the album presents modern sounding of an old grey history – in subjective interpretation. So, you make sure again and again that real roots always remain topical, they always remain a powerful basis for search – and for interesting findings.

Alexey Gorchitza creates tracks, which, in spite of their dance-orientedness, require from the audience something more than just readiness to shake soft parts of their body. Макс Черный кросавчег!!! а этот альбом вообще меня поразил - настолько все четко и в тему - имхо лучший из всех его. Музыка органичная и прекрасно отражает этнику Украины)))

Загалом диск складає дуже хороше враження. Цікавий, сучасний, здається написаним на одному подиху. Надзвичайно тішить той факт, що справжнє коріння таки залишається актуальним. Проте інколи, все ж, відчувається одноманітність, наче не вистачило чи то надхнення, чи то часу , чи бажання, щоб зробити його бездоганним. Але, як відомо, досконалості немає меж, тож сподіваюся, почути більш досконалу творчість, тим більше , що талант автора як то кажуть "На лицо".

Interesting mash up of beats and old folklore records. A pleasurable record. there are so many dance records out these days that it's hard to make something sound different - or interesting. While not being overly original it still manages to sound tasty. I'd give it a B with hopes of some more interesting avante-gardisms next time around.

відверто кажучи слухаю макса вперше. З цієї підбірки Hirs'ki fantaziji та Karpaty це ше те шо має якесь відношення до етнічної музики. Інше якась какофонія в якій вгадуються приглушені народні мотиви перемішані з беззмістовним попискуванням та тріском. Останнє аж ніяк (ан мою думку) не надає шарму композиціям, але іноді дратує до нестями, dj'ю теж варто мати якийсь музичний слух і знати міру...
цікаво ше Gde Trava почути, хоча перше враження вже зіпсоване
