Inkunabula. Nevydane. (Unprecedented)

Thus, a cradle... Let's see, maybe, something extraordinary will really appear from this cradle to the light of the day. In any case, there are preconditions for optimism for sure. During the three years of its existence, the group has had enough time to attain both a nice quality of the material, and, the main thing, their own manner. Inkunabula consists of three persons only, but they manage to create saturated, interesting music without unnecessary vacuums in the sounding. The heavy guitar, deep bass, tense drums – so to say, common features, the due contribution into the chosen style. But add here outstanding melodiousness of practically all the compositions – and the feeling of freshness appears there. The songs are often not growled, in fact, but sung – and still do not lose any of their energy. Vice versa – it seems that the flexible, plastic vocal attributes serious overtones to them. Plus – the careful, really appropriate use of folk motives (these is the pan-pipe playing, and the very structure of melodies). All together – makes the impression of an alternative beauty. In other words, it is a transparent album – although not every ear will agree with me. But any music, if it correctly applies the roots, is simply doomed to contain some part of sheer harmony. And it seems that is exactly what happens to Inkunabula's music – which does not prevent it, however, from being alternative in its essence.
